Overview
Admins and managers can add feedback to specific portions of a recorded session transcript to highlight key training moments, reinforce best practices, and provide coaching.
Feedback can be saved as written notes or audio recordings and is stored Feedback panel of a technician’s FieldSpark application, where it can be reviewed for development.
When to Use This
Use transcript feedback when you want to:
Highlight strong performance or correct behavior
Address missed steps or coaching opportunities
Provide targeted, context-specific training
Step-by-Step Workflow
1. Access the Recording
Log in to the FieldSpark web application using an Admin or Manager account
From the left-hand navigation menu, select Recordings
Locate the desired session
Click the blue Rec. Number to open the recording
2. Select Transcript Sections
Navigate to the Script Analysis section
Click the Feedback icon (chat bubble)
Check the boxes next to the transcript sections you want to include
Ensure selections are consecutive
Tip:
Click the checkbox next to the first section relevant to your feedback
Scroll to the last section relevant to your feedback and select that checkbox
Everything in between is automatically checked
3. Add Feedback
Click Add Feedback
Your selected transcript sections will appear at the top
Choose one of the following methods:
Option A: Record Audio
Click Start Recording Audio
Record your feedback
Play it back to review
Re-record if needed
Option B: Write Feedback
Toggle to the Write tab
Type your feedback
5. Save Feedback
Click Save
The feedback is now added to the Feedback tab of the recording
6. Technician Visibility
The feedback will automatically appear in the technician’s FieldSpark mobile app
It is accessible from the Feedback panel on the home screen of the FieldSpark app
